We would like to thank everyone so far in our international team who has contributed to the tender bid so far. BTCG has met with several representaives from the Tanzanian Government including several ministers and TRL (Tanzanian Railway Limited)’s management. Sometime during spring 2013 TRL will declare their final decision.

BTCG will act as the commercial project manager and our American technical locomotive partner will take care of all the technical issues in this potential project.

BTCG and NCC signed a corporate frame agreement in January 2013. This is a historic and great moment for BTCG. Usually only very large vendors and companies are able to or even suitable for signing frame agreements with NCC. Due to influencial consultant deliveries and a good relations to NCC BTCG were able to negotiate this contract.

“This frame agreement will mean that any of the NCC Business Units can call-off any consultant services with a much shorter process of getting the consultants going within NCC.”, says Per Larsson head of IT Procurement at NCC.

By combining micro-finance with the internet, Kiva is creating a global community of people connected through lending.

At BTCG we are dedicated to supporting small businesses, and as such some good % of our proceeds go to supporting small businesses on Kiva. To date we have lent to 75 entrepreneurs. You can visit our Kiva lending page to see how the loans were utilized.

This kind of charitable support is extremely rewarding and we encourage our clients to support other small business owners in developing countries too.

We support the work of Kiva.org, which allows loans to be made to micro-finance institutions who help build sustainable businesses that provide income to feed, clothe, house and educate someone in the developing world who needs a loan for their business – like raising goats, selling vegetables at market or making bricks.

Kiva is creating a global community of people connected through lending.
